A cold buffet breakfast is served between 7.00 and 8.30 in the dining room with a wide choice of cereals and a magnificent fruit salad. The house – but not the garden – is a non-smoking environment. Our drive can accommodate up to 3 cars and front door keys are provided so that guests can come and go as they please; they may also use our computer and we provide free internet access via this and via wi-fi.

Our home is about one mile south of the centre of Newbury, in a pleasant and quiet residential cul de sac. We are three miles from Junction 13 on the M4, fifteen miles west of Reading and only 45 minutes from London Heathrow; the A34 provides easy access to Winchester and Southampton to the south and to Oxford and the Midlands to the north. Newbury is on a main rail line from London Paddington to Exeter and the west country.
Our twin bedroom has a new en suite cloakroom and guests may use the superb family bathroom with power shower whenever they wish; a flat-screen TV offers the entire Freeview range and the room also has a radio/alarm clock, a hairdryer, use of a small fridge and tea/coffee making facilities; our single room has an en suite washbasin and the same additional facilities.
Our aim is to provide visiting weekday workers with a comfortable base away from home. We are happy to welcome guests for anything from 2 to 5 nights each week but we expect them to be out of the house between 9.00am and 5.00pm; guests staying for more than one week are welcome to leave clothes in the room over weekends and we will be happy to provide a free laundry service.
